Center for Training and Professional Development
We offer a variety of certificate programs. Our certificate
programs are designed to provide you with the knowledge
and confidence to succeed in the workforce. Our certificate
programs contain core courses which must be completed within
a one year period to obtain a Certificate of Completion.
Upon successful completion of core courses, participants
will be awarded a Certificate of completion from Long Beach
City College, Office of Economic & Resource Development.
Business Expansion-
Certificate of Achievement
This certificate program is four 3-hours
sessions. Courses included in the certificate program: ERD-1015,
ERD-1016, ERD-1017 and ERD-1018. You must complete all four
courses within a one year period to receive a certificate.
Each session is $49.00 or sign up for all four sessions for
$178. Fee includes all materials
Fundamentals of
Customer Service- Certificate of Achievement This
certificate program is six 3-hour sessions. Courses included
in the certificate program: ERD-5010, ERD-5011, ERD-5012,
ERD-5013, ERD-5014 and ERD-5015. You must complete all six
courses within a one year period to receive a certificate.
Each Session is $39.00 or sign up for all six sessions for
$210.00. Fee includes all materials.
Advanced Customer
Service- Certificate of Achievement
This
certificate program is six 3-hour sessions. Courses included
in the certificate program: ERD-5016, ERD-5017, ERD-5018,
ERD-5019, ERD-5020 and ERD-5021. You must complete all six
courses within a one year period to receive a certificate.
Each Session is $49.00 or sign up for all six sessions for
$265. Fee includes all materials.
Supervising
Excellent in Customer Service- Certificate of Achievement
This certificate program is six 3-hour
sessions. Courses included in the certificate program: ERD-5022,
ERD-5023, ERD-5024, ERD-5025, ERD-5026 and ERD-5027. You must
complete all six courses within a one year period to receive
a certificate. Each Session is $59 or sign up for all six
sessions for $320. Fee includes all materials.
Management &
Leadership
Long Beach City College has partnered with the American
Management Association to offer porfessional certificates in several management disciplines in the
Long Beach area. Each certificate consists of several courses and can generally be completed
in 6-8 months. These certificates represent a nationally recognized competency credential.
