TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
|
| |
Technical assistance can help businesses identify the best
practices in current health care methods and select those
that will work best for their organization. Certification
and competency testing also can be performed on the behalf
of health professionals, and skills assessments of existing
staff can pinpoint training programs that will reduce turnover
and increase productivity. Today's health care workers need
strong skills to operate tomorrow's sophisticated equipment.
Strong Math, English, computer and workplace skills are basic
requirements. To this end, Long Beach City College provides
assessments designed to help identify gaps and remediate basic
skills of new or incumbent workers.
